At 9:00 on September 3, the opening ceremony of the grade 2018 of the IGG(Institute of Geophysics and Geomatics) was held on the second floor of the Teaching Building 1.

Party Secretary of the College Liu Zizhong, Dean Hu Xiangyun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Li Zhoubo, Vice President Gu Hanming, Luo Yinhe, Wu Ke, Department Heads, Party Branch Secretaries, head teacher of freshmen, College Student Group Specialized Part-time Counselors and Freshmen of grade 2018 attended the ceremony. At the beginning of the meeting, the college held a new student award. Vice President Luo Yinhe read out the winners of the 2018 undergraduate freshmen scholarship, and Vice President Gu Hanming read out the list of outstanding graduate students.
