(Correspondent Li Zhoubo) On September 19, 2018, the 4th "Innovation Cup" National College Student Geophysical Knowledge Competition was successfully concluded in Chang'an University. Our school students won the third prize of the seismic logging group and the second prize of the heavy magnetic group.

The competition attracted nearly 300 teachers and students from 41 teams from 21 universities including jilin university, central south university, ocean university of China and shandong university. Under the guidance of zhu peimin, professor of geospatial college of our university, the "hanwu university 'emperor' team composed of graduate students zhang kuitao and cui tingfang, undergraduate students of exploration technology and engineering zhang qianwen and zhang jianming participated in the competition of seismic logging group. Under the guidance of professor shi xueming, the "fire of geophysical exploration" team composed of MAO zhiqiang, he ziang, peng zhenliang, hao zejiang, Yang shun and other undergraduates majoring in exploration technology and engineering participated in the heavy electromagnetic group competition. Through video, the two teams competed with the seven links of field pen answer, field self-presentation, individual required answer, team required answer, team urgent answer, comprehensive discussion question and debate question, and finally achieved good results, showing the good mental outlook of teachers and students in the school.
